ANNA HUFF & KATHY GUO

BIOGRAPHY

Anna Huff is a multimedia artist with a background in traditional trades work, graphic design, and digital fabrication. She graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2018 with a BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture, and has exhibited her work in DC, Baltimore, and the Carolinas. Her work seeks to recognize the sublimity in mundane moments by creating reenactments of everyday objects and happenings. She takes inspiration from utopias, religion, feelings of nostalgia, and suburban iconography.

Kathy Guo is a Chinese American artist working with fiber, sculpture, illustration, digital tools, and empathy. Her practice is concerned with investigating the complexities of human relationships: In culture, family, community, self, and between one another. They are dedicated to always learning, connecting, feeling, critiquing, and empowering.
