BIOGRAPHY

Jessica Swank is a photography-based artist, originally from Greenville, SC. She earned her MFA from Clemson University and her BA from Anderson University. Swank has exhibited in numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally, at galleries such as Millepiani in Rome, Italy, JKC Gallery in Trenton, NJ, and the Stay Home Gallery in Paris, TN. Her work has also been recognized by platforms such as Musée Magazine, APERO, and Porridge Magazine. She self-published her first photography book, entitled “HOME,” in 2021 and was invited to speak at the Slow Exposures Photography Festival on the work that was published.

Swank is a founding member of the art collective Zero Space (0_) and is currently working as Adjunct Faculty at the South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University. Her work can be seen this summer 2022 at the Crutchfield Gallery in downtown Spartanburg during her solo exhibition, “Fragments of the Self.”
